How to occupy an Automic Admin for hours

  • 1.  How to occupy an Automic Admin for hours

    Posted Feb 20, 2020 06:17 AM
    Hi

if I ever get bored, or want a colleague be occupied for hours I tell  him to logon to automic community.

    1. try to logon
    2. send identification mail

    3. wait up to 10 Minutes for the mail
    4. try entering number
    5. force logon again
    6=1 start again logging on

Last week I told a colleague of mine "Please log on to community, quickly!"

I learned some new bad language words ....

    cheers ,Wolfgang

    HI Wolfgang,
I share a similar experience as you. These days, I have to enter first my password, then ask and enter a security code and finally, enter my password again.

Worse to me. I didn't realize that I need to press another button to trigger the mail (why should I want to additionally click another button, just send me that f*g mail?!). So I've been trying to login over and over again without ever receiving an email until I realized there's an additional decent button...

    Hi @Frank Muffke,

I share your view. It's difficult not to become frustrated over this, but I guess that Broadcom just want us to work harder and not smarter...

    Hi

Just a quick update someone "He who must not be named" from Broadcom contacted me 5 minutes ago and promised to help improve this situation.

    I've got new hope... :-)

    cheers, Wolfgang

Funny thing, also Broadcom Support told me they also need to login twice.
At least they share this within their own.

If doppelt hält besser, does dreifach hold trice as much? Hm, don't give me any ideas old pal ... with only a small Python script, I could make it a tausendfach :p

    Best,
    Carsten :)

    Hi

Just got a link from He who must not be named to a web form - everyone who has troubles with login can submit.
    No user/pw needed...

    https://ca-broadcom.wolkenservicedesk.com/web-form

    cheers, Wolfgang
