    Dear users,

We would like to receive your feedback regarding the inbound REST API of the Automation Engine, especially around security. Your feedback will have an impact on future versions of the Automic Workload Automation product.

Currently the Automation Engine's inbound REST API provides basic auth as an authentication technology only. We would like to understand if basic auth is sufficient enough for your use cases or you would like us to support other standards as well (e.g. OAuth 2,..).

We have prepared a survey which you can fill out by yourself/in your teams. Alternatively, you can leave your contact information so we can get in touch later and conduct a personal interview online.

    Link to the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CB9YWDF

We are looking forward to receiving your feedback and many thanks in advance,

      Peter Szulman (Product Manager)

The WebServices REST agent also needs to be updated to provide better native support for things like bearer token authentication. Right now there is no straightforward way to accomplish this without exposing the token in an AE variable.
