    Hi Peter,

Thanks for providing this valuable information.

After going through the article i found that it looks like a general Stop/Start procedure of the computer systems and i wanted to know if there are any steps if the UC4 Application AWA 11.2 goes down and we need to restart the application what all steps need to follow. I hope you are able to understand.

    Regards,
    Mohd Zain AKbar

    Hi Mohd,

    >... if the UC4 Application AWA 11.2 goes down and we need to restart

    I assume that
    • autostart is configured for the entries managed by ServiceManager
    • you have not restarted the computer

You can try to restart the Windows service "UC4.ServiceManager" or - on Unix - restart the ServiceManager daemon. In case of autostart enabled all UC4/AE processes should start normal. Alternatively you can start the processes one-by-one:

    1. start Service Manager Dialog
    2. select the first WP and perform a normal start (option "start service")
    3. wait for the confirmation - the display should change from UC4 WP1 to UC4 PWP-Server [.....]
    4. then start the remaining server processes as usual

In case that the first WP (which must become PWP) does not start you can check the corresponding log file or contact support to have them doing the analysis.

    regards,
    Peter
