Userinterface settings in AWI

    Hi all,
I just found out that the settings I made in the "old" java userinterface (i.e. see settings - workflow - status for internal tasks-else-execute:<object>) still work in AWI, but I did not find any possibility in AWI to change these settings (my AWI version is: Automic Web Interface 12.1.1.GA02-dev-feature-12.1.1-GA02-68435).
Is it actually still necessary to start the userinterface to make adjustments there?
    Thanks and regards, Nicole

To incorporate these settings in the AWI is planned for a later version. But I cannot give you a target version yet.

    Hi there,

    I just upgrated to

    Automic Web Interface 12.1.4.GA01-dev-feature-12.1.4-GA01-83797

and still no way to amend settings for example: numer of executions shown.

Users who used the Java client before, have now limits like 50 lines and can't change that.

Is there a target version in sight, now?

    Regards,

    Alex.

    Hi,

the user settings (number of execution, default settings for workflow dependencies and checkback settings) will be part of the 12.3 release which is planned to be released end of Q2 2019

    Best regards,

    Robert

The settings are stored in the INI table. See this discussion:

@Michael A. Lowry  how did you generate the link?   I looked up the link for the main thread for AWI configuration settings and grabbed the link embedded.   Jason

The link is one that the migration to Higher Logic failed to convert.

I see. I don't dare to change the automic database "by hand". So, I understand that the UserInterface is still needed for such settings. Thanks to you both!

    Hi All,

with 12.1, you can use the previous java user interface version 12.0 to update the workflow user settings.

The old 12.0 Java user interface is available to be downloaded from downloads.automic.com

Bear in mind that this combination is out of support and could cause unwanted behavior, but I've tested and it works.
