Forecast Timeline

Hello, 

We would like to display a forecast timeline based on something like the following as an example:
                  Display forecast timeline of workflows where
                                             DATES =   next 30 days    AND

                           CONTACTNAME  = 'JohnSmith'

A Gantt Chart seems like the best type of output. And, not sure that ClearView still exists, or if Process Analytics, or writing script is best?
I can see where attributes can be created in each workflows DOCUMENTATION->LINKS TAB - with custom values.

2 questions:
What is the best way to do this? 

And, where should we define custom fields that we can use as input parameters like CONTACTNAME, with their value?
