    In this example, the external dependency is set to only run on the 4th of July.

    1. Always set the expected status to ANY_OK in the 'External dependency' tab rather than in the task's dependencies tab.

    Note: ANY_OK covers the following statuses = Ended inactive, Ended skip because of calendar, Ended OK

    2. This external dependency will only run on the 4th of July.  Any other day, it will be skipped:

    3. Leave the status blank in the task's 'Dependencies' tab.
