In UIM trend report for a particular metric type we are seeing the elements from the profiles that are not being monitored now. How can we remove them?

    Hi srinu,

Not sure which trend report you are reffering. Is it in USM, or dashboard. If in USM details, it will eventually dissappear if you have stopped collecting the metric.

Thank you very much for the response.

Yes its in the USM. How long it can take for them to disappear. Is there a way to manually remove them?

Not sure of the exact formula but it has something to do with raw data retention setting in DE. Someone else may be able to answer as well. Deleting manually is NOT supported and should only be tried in a test environment, but deleting the s_qos_data entry for source and qos used to do this when I was younger. Not sure of consequences today.

You can use the SLM portlet to find and delete the data objects. You can use either the Quality of Service section of the left hand navigation tree (sort by Probe or QOS) or use the Database Status from the Tools menu to look for and delete the objects. It can be tedious, but it is the supported method to ensure the objects and all related records are deleted.
