My hub probe open like raw configure

  • 1.  My hub probe open like raw configure

    Hi everyone.

    In my primary hub with IM installed, my hub probe open like raw configure and not as GUI, for to see for example the queue of my subscribers.

    Why happen this? I restarted the primary hub but not resolve my issue.

    What can I do?

    check IM bottom left corner. If you logged into the primary hub?
    IM by default will log into the last hub you were logged into. If this was a secondary hub this would explain the issue.

    The other problem might be that the distsrv probe is deactivated. This is usually not the case.
    Also make sure the archive has the hub probe in it.

    Hi @Gene Howard My distsrv it's working, I tryed restart the distsrv probe but not fix my issue

    What other thing can I check?

    You get raw configure opening when IM is unable to load the correct version of the configuration. You've blacked out too much of your picture to be able to tell but make sure that the version of hub you are trying to configure has a package of the same version in the archive. You also need to make sure that the system you are running IM on is able to connect to the distsrv probe on the hub that is configured at the archive for IM in options.

    Is the primary hub Windows? If so make sure it works on IM run on the windows bow. I have seen this issue when IM machine has UDP(I think I narrowed it down to UDP restrictions) on the 48000 range. ANyway try directy from hub then work your way out. After you verify previous possible solutions.

    Hi thanks to all for your suggestion but all prerequisite on my UIM is fine. In fact IM it was working fine, I don't know what happen.

    @Gene Howard I tested your suggestion and enable log level 5 for IM, and this is the line from logs nimbus_manager.log, but I can't see which is the problem ------->

    You may also want to set your distsrv loglevel to 5 and logsize to 35000 and restart it and check if for errors dealing with the hub.

    I am replying her so other might find a solution later.
    From the distsrv logs we can see the following error:

    This is your problem

     so I would suggest you delete the hub package(s) from the archive in IM.
    Then deactivate the distsrv probe.
    go to the archive directory and remove any package called hub.zip and the one called ReleaseID-4093.zip

    Activate the distsrv probe.
    then download and import the hub probe to the archive again.
