can anyone suggest if there is a way to monitor the backup running on the avamar backup tool that is used in my environment through UIM

Does this write to the windows event logs?
Or does it have an ASCII text file for results?
You could look at logmon for the ASCII file or ntevl for windows event logs.
we do not currently have a dedicate probe for monitoring this.

i am checking on the log monitoring for the backup monitoring

Generally speaking, support does not have access to road map information for legal reasons.
As this is the first I have heard of Avamar backup I would not expect it to be on the product managers rador nor roadmap.
I would suggest you raise an IDEA to make sure that it is.
