Some possible things that can prevent the connection validation from succeeding:
1. Firewall rules blocking the configured SOAP and REST ports between the robot where the sdgtw probe is deployed and the CADSM configured
2. Incorrect SOAP Host and/or REST Host URL specified
3. Incorrect SOAP Port and/or REST Port for the CA SDM configured
4. Username not valid for the CA SDM configured or the password is wrong for the specified user
The best way to track this down would be to enable enhanced logs for the sdgtw probe as follows:
1. From the sdgtw probe's Raw Configure GUI, select the setup folder from the left-hand pane, then Modify/Add the following keys in the right-hand pane:
- loglevel = 5
- logsize = 80000
Apply the changes.
2. Navigate to the <installPath>\Nimsoft\probes\gateway\sdgtw\NIMSM_WORKSPACE\webapp\WEB-INF\config directory, then modify the log4j2.xml file. Change all occurrences of the following strings:
From :
- level="INFO"
- level="ERROR"
to
Save the changes.
3. Cold start (deactivate then activate) the sdgtw probe
4. Reproduce the problem by testing the connection, then check the following to see why the connection is failing:
- sdgtw,log
- <installPath>\Nimsoft\probes\gateway\sdgtw\NIMSM_WORKSPACE\webapp\WEB-INF\logs\Nim.log
