    probe configure gui not opening/hanging is typically a communication problem.
    However in the case of the vmware probe it is a known behavior in IM GUI that it remains in loading state till the probe gets the data from all the resources.
    Might be a good idea to update to the GA release 7.14.
    Admin Console should not have this problem, if it does then it is back to the first line.
    For some reason the version of UIM was kept secret, figuring it is 9.0.2 or older, robot & hub should be 7.97.

    Agree with David's Update!
    Please use the latest Vmware GA probe version and check in the Adminconsole if you have the same behavior.
    Increasing the startup parameters for vmware probe may help, to somehting like:

    java_mem_max = -Xmx4096m

    java_mem_init = -Xms1024m

    max_perm_size = -XX:MaxPermSize=512m

    options = -Xms1024m -Xmx4096m -Duser.language=en -Duser.country=US

    Deactivate and Activate the probe

    Maybe the probe is still scanning all the Vcenter, and need to wait, you can check the logs in loglevel 3 and logsize 95000 to see if have any errors.
