  • 1.  SNMP collector not able to see interfaces

    Posted Jan 09, 2020 01:22 PM
    Hi

    Using SNMP collector probe 3.443, on one SNMP collector for some Cisco devices i cannot see the interfaces available on device.

    under SNMP profile for that device under  interface it shows  "interface component S1"

    Any clues how to resolve this.

    1 - Is this happen to the Same Cisco Device Model/version?
    2 - Are you using the latest DCD probe package?
    http://support.nimsoft.com/Files/Archive/00382/Device_Certification_Deployer-3_00.zip

    Import the DCD package
    1. Go to UIM Admin Console webpage: http://<UIM-Host>:80/adminconsoleapp
    2. Switch to Archive view
    3. Select 'Actions' -> 'Import Packages ...', then navigate to the saved package.
    4. Import package
    Deploy the DCD package
    1. Switch to Archive view
    2. Select uploaded package
    3. Select 'Actions' -> 'Deploy'
    4. Select UIM hub
    5. Select UIM hub robot
    6. Click Deploy

    3 - Did you tried to remove the profile and Discover again?
    4 - Is this Device Certified at: http://devicesupport.ca.com/  ?
    5 - Could you please share a Screenshoot to be sure about this behavior

    Hi Chris

    This is a Cisco NX 6000 series device. The problem is with interface only not getting discovered .

    Thanks

    Hi

    Can try with setting lower MAX_BATCH value and rediscovering the device
    example
    MAX_BATCH=3

    Hi Santhosh,

    I have experienced that before with devices that are not certified. Log a a request with Broadcom support to get a certification done. You can check it by following the steps that Alex Yasuda suggested above.
