    We have requirement -

    1. Windows activation/license monitoring.

    2. Password expiration notification for in Unix/Linux user.

Please suggest how can we achieve this in UIM. Is any dedicated probe available or any existing probe can help.

There isn't a probe to do either. If you can get the info saved to a log then the log can be monitored via logmon.
For the full list of probes see:

I pretty much figured that to be the answer.  What bothers me about that answer is the prime question any administrator asks when presented with a high CPU, memory, or IO concern, "What process was consuming the _________ resource when it alarmed?"

If we cannot enable capture of top processes for IO when we set the IO alarm threshold then what good is the alarm?  By the time the alarm is acted upon, admin logs in, runs some commands, etc. the relevant data is long gone.

We have the tools (probes) but the cdm probe is not giving us a complete picture.

    Hi

Cdm does have top cpu / memory process monitoring capability

Top CPU consuming processes in alarm: specifies the number of top CPU consuming processes that are included in CPU usage alarms.
    Default: 5

    From cdm 6.20 and greater

Top Memory consuming processes in alarm: specifies the number of top memory consuming processes that are included in memory usage alarms.
    Default: 5

Totally agreed with Franklin Ravi Dsouza that CDM probe can monitor the top process.

    Windows Activation/Licensing
For Windows activation/licensing status monitoring, you can use the ntevl probe and monitor for the specific event(s)/event IDs.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/volume-activation/monitor-activation-client

Most licensing actions and events are recorded in the Event log.

    Password expiration (UNIX/Linux)
You can search the web for scripts to monitor password expiration and use logmon to execute it, and send an alarm/notification.
