    Hi All,

i am configuring monitoring using of postgresql using MCS and facing issues while creating mutiple connections.
Since by default some checks and QoS are enabled for each profile i have to manually change them .
Is there no way to minimize the efforts here?
They do have a copy template option but that works only when you need to copy a profile from one device to others.
SInce in my scenario i have installed jdbc_response on one of my hubs and creating mutiple profiles on the same hub, and there is no option to copy configuration of a profile on same server.

Please let me know if anyone knows a smart way to do this.

    Thanks

    Hi Gene ,

So i have configured monitoring but since all instances are monitored from one of my hub server, in alert hostname and source name are coming of hub robot only and causing confusion.
Not just that, in postgre alert also there is no mention of hostname and i dont see any option in MCS to insert $url variable in alert message.
Can you please tell me if it is possible at all?

    Thanks
    Anmol

Using MCS there is not currently any way to set up custom variables such as that
