I figured I'd start a new UIM 20.3.x Defects/Bugs/Gotchas thread similar to what Daniel Blanco created for 9.x. 

Just so we can all track known bugs and defects. 

If you find any 20.3.x related bugs, defects, gotchas, tips please share in this thread so we can all be in the know.

You can't change the link to the Admin Console from the Operator Console settings page. The link seems hardcoded to the private IP of the primary hub using HTTP only.

This did fix the display issue if you navigate to View -> Schedules; however, it doesn't fix the display issue if you view the schedules for a particular report.

LDAP users can't see dashboards published to "No account." In order for LDAP users that aren't assigned to an account to see a published dashboard, it has to be published to public. We can't publish internal dashboards to public because we would leak sensitive information. We can't be expected to assign an account to the ACL because of the extra administration.


This worked fine in all versions until 20.3.

We can't create/edit the SLM reports in SLM portlet with decimal percentage value, after updating the UIM 20.1 to UIM 20.3 (OC 20.3.2).

Usually we can set the SLM group report with 99.5% or 99.9 % or with any decimal value to add the SLA compliance percent, BUT in 20.3.2, we can't do that.

We can't download the LIST_VIEWER reports in PDF format as it is deprecated portlet now. Do we have any other options to export the list report in PDF?

I can't delete any SLA from SLM Portlet in 20.3.2. When users clicks delete the view is refreshed but the SLA is still there.

Thanks for creating this thread  @DanGill!

Great information in this thread but I would please remind everyone to open a Support case on these defects you are finding.  The Engineering Teams have been working very hard since the 20.3.0 release and fixing and enhancing the OC.  This is reflected with the 20.3.1 and 20.3.2 patches that have come out.  

I heard there will be another HF for some OC performance improvements coming out around the Dec 21st.

Also keep the Ideas coming. They are being watch and many of them are already being looked at for releases coming in Q1 and Q2 of FY21.

The hub.log file displays cleartext passwords when users attempt to log in to the Admin Console. I opened support case 32475607 about this issue, and I was advised that the generic description for Application is Vulnerable to Insecure Communication Vulnerability applies to this case and that I should open an enhancement request. The workaround is to reduce the hub log level to 0.

This shouldn't require an enhancement request as this is a major security flaw. In today's climate, the expected norm should be a secure platform.

Opened a support case - after 20.3.x upgrade, usage_metering billing report was double usage it normally is - looking at the report details, new cs_id's were generated for everything but usage_metering still picking up old cs_id's even though they are not tied to anything in cm_computer_systems table

With OC 20.3.2 I cannot move a group, it is grayed out. It did work with 9.x
