    hi ,

I received the following message of Datagaurd timegap
"Profile dbprofile1, instance dbsale.dbsale.1 has a gap of 0 days 15:02:54 (54174 sec behind primary)."

we enable Datagaurd timegap as below threshold
     threshold is 18000
    Major
oracle admin replied no issue and need  to know what is this alarm mean in details and how to recover it ?

    thanks

So is the question why is there the 54174 second delay?
Could be related to the overall load on this instance of the oracle probe.
As a test set up monitoring from another robot just to see if they both have it happening or it is just the original.

I think the best way to determine what the alarm means is to look at the query it is running. It tells me nothing--you may or may not be in the same boat--but the DBA should be able to understand it.
