  • 1.  Too much memory on hub

    Posted May 21, 2020 06:14 PM
    Hi Support,

The hub we're using is installed in a Linux server and its memory is currently at 6GB. Is it normal for the hub to have this much memory usage? If not, is there any solution you can suggest aside from memory upgrade?

    Thanks

If it continues, restart the robot and then track the process memory usage for the robot (controller) and the hub process.

Can I use 9.20 or 7.97 for hub instead? Our environment use 9.20HF6 for hub primarily and I don't think I can use a higher version. We also doesn't have that package

It usually works fine to use a hub version on some of your hubs that is higher than your primary hub. Incompatibilities are very rare. I would think that is especially safe when they are the same release version and just different hotfixes.
