    DXIM 9.20
    Robot_update 7.80
    OS - Windows server 2012 R2 64bit
I can see QOS for C and D but not for others what could be the issue ??

    Hi ,

Please recheck if QOS is still enabled for these disks in cdm probe or some configuration changes .Also confirm if those disks still present on server in case any changes on OS end
Restart the cdm probe and  also check in Dr Nimbus if data is seen for these disks

    Hi Frank,
    I checked it already
The disks are present and  active , the Qos is already checked
Also this is a cluster server

What version of the cluster probe and CDM probe are you using?
Did the drives move from one server to another?
Check the S_qos_table for the source and target that is missing and check the rn table to see when the last data came in for it.
Do you loglevel 5 CDM and cluster logs show the drives as being monitored?

    cdm 6.42
    cluster 3.50
cluster logs show that drives are being monitored

So the next steps I would take would be
    1) start DR nimbus and point it at the local hub for the probe and set the filter to the robot name and the CDM probe.
    2) make sure you are seeing the QOS being sent on the message bus for the drives in question.
    3) next move to the primary and check the same thing.
    4) then check the data_engine loglevel 3 or 5 logs to make sure the QOS is being inserted into the database and not dropped by the data_engine.
    5) then check the back end database to make sure you see the data in the s_qos_data tables and the RN tables.
    6) compare the QoS for the working drives to a none working drive to understand what is different.

Usually when you are monitoring disks in a cluster, the QoS source is the cluster rather than the server name. I think it defaults to cluster IP as the QoS source, and in the cdm probe GUI you can switch it to cluster name.

So if you check your QoS database for source 10.27.163.142, that's where you'll find the data. It's not saved under the server name for a shared disk in a cluster.

so if  i save it in shared disk in cluster under server name , i would get the QOS source server rather 10.27.163.142?

I don't think so. As far as I know, you can't get the shared disks to report QoS under the server when using the cluster probe with the cdm probe. I think you have to choose between cluster IP address and cluster name.
