  • 1.  snmpgtw probe doesn't send full message

    Hi All,

    How many characters does snmpgtw probe support ,we have a big event messages which is coming from router and we are not getting the full message . I hope there are some limitations

    hi,
    are you using snmpgtw probe to SEND a message? 
    If so what is the target system?

    UIM alarm messages have a 4000 character limit.

    If you are having a router SEND a message to UIM this is usually done with the snmptd probe.

    If you can provide the UIM version/ nas version and probe version this might help us provide more details.

    There is no probe update for the snmpgtw after july 2017 ..By anyway there is any development in process ?

    I have not heard of any plans for updates to this probe.

    You may want to go ahead and raise an enhancement request via our idea wall so that the product management team knows you are looking for this.
