    Hi Team,

    Recently we are getting the alert " Connection to ***** (NimBUS_Robot) failed (host contact: ) " from net_connect for some systems. robots looks fine for this. Please provide a solution for this.

    With netconnect which port are you trying to connect on. If Robot reporting OK then connectivity to a hub is working fine, You can trouble shoot FW or ACL by physically placing netconnect  on hub which communicating fine. Chances are you have a configuration or port restriction. Try "telnet <host> (your port)" command in pboth directions to gain information as well.

    So you need to remember that this is two-way traffic.
    Robot to the hub, IE initiated by the robot.
    HUB to Robot, IE initiated by the net_connect on the hub.

    Just because the Robot can communicate to the hub does not mean the hub can communicate to the robot.
    When this error is seen it means the hub initiated communication is not working. It does not mean the robot to hub initiated communication will fail.

    Check your loglevel 5 logs for more details and check the network connectivity when the issue is happening to find out why.
