processes probe core dump

Hi! We are facing the following behavior: A processes probe crashes for some unknown reason and then it writes a core dump of a couple of GB to its directory. (This happens on Linux, not yet observed on Windows). 
Has anyone seen the same? Is there a configuration that would prevent that kind of stuff or would we conjecture a Linux behaviour, on the OS side of the show, that is?

A core dump will mean that something happened that the dev team did not expect and the application crashed.

Very rarely can this type of thing be corrected with a configuration change.
if you are using a current robot, IE  7.93 or newer, the probe is on the latest version, and you are on a supported OS type and version, for the robot and the probe then this will need to go to the dev team for analysis. they will require loglevel 5 logs from before and after the core dump, the .cfg and the dump itself to look into this.

This was one of those, there is something in the back of my mind on this' type of things. 
Did some checking and yeah seems there is a problem found with linux and fixed in 4.65. 
Open a support case with the details and to make it easy for the tech, defect DE422203 fixed in 4.66-HF5.
Seems they found another problem after 4.65, so 4.66-HF5 or later will do it for you. ​
