    Dear all,
just a quick Question after reading the relevant documentation: We have a (Windows) UIM test System with UIM Server, DB and UMP on it (single node) on 8.5.1 - and we want to go to 9.2 with it. I am understanding it works like this:
    1) Run the UIM Server upgrade to 9.0.2
    2) Run the UMP upgrade to 9.0.2.
    3) Run the UIM Server upgrade to 9.0.2.
    4) Run the UMP upgrade to 9.2

So, it would basically be four updates on that Servers, in the order outlined above.
    Correct?

    Kindest regards
    Alex

Not sure if you need step 2?
In a new environment, where you start with UIM 9.0.2 followed by UIM 9.2.0 upgrade I do directly UMP 9.2.0, like this is (also) a full install version.

9.20 is NOT a full installer and can not be done on an 8.51 UMP and expected to work.

UMP 9.2.0 has not been tested as a full installer - it may actually work (unlike the UIM installer), but I'd be careful, since it has not been fully QA'd.

Thanks. I am glad  that has worked  for you and you did not run into issues.

However per the development team 9.20 is not a full installer  to upgrade version other than 9.02.

If this corrupts your installation the only option  you will have will be to roll back your database  or start clean.

The dev team will state this was not a supported upgrade path and will not troubleshoot the issue.
