Upgrade UIM HA Env from 8.51 to 9.0.2

​Hi,
we are planning to upgrade Win UIM HA Env from 8.51 to 9.0.2. We have a few questions:

Should we force UIM Primary to Fail Over to UIM Secondary, let Secondary become Primary and disable HA Probe on Secondary UIM before starting upgrade UIM Primary server.

Does UIM Primary upgrade update UIM dbase (Sql) during the upgrade process?

If yes, does any impact to UIM dbase while both UIM Primary and Secondary servers access(write/read) the dbase during the upgrade.

UIM upgrade is down time, no way around it. The upgrade updates the database schema so having a HA hub sending data into the database is most likely to result in corruption. HA hub must be stopped while UIM server upgrade is run at the primary hub.
