If I understand correctly; ideas are not going via the 'ideas' option in the future but via a "black box" where we have no view of what ideas are entered?

Agee 100%. That was appealed to me about the whole Idea thing, is that you can see all the requests, when they were made, and the interest based on votes up. Not totally a black box since at each of the roadmaps sessions they do announce what's coming in the next release and sometimes beyond.
