performance report empty via ReportScheduler

  • 1.  performance report empty via ReportScheduler

    Hello,

    After upgrading UIM to 9.0.2 (from 8.5.1), my perf. report is empty when generated it via ReportScheduler !!
    Run the same report for the same period from Performance Report portlet does have data.

    Have anybody noticed or experienced this ?

    Nice. Another great feature of reporting in 9.20.
    Yeah just confirmed I get same broken results. 
    So in PRD last 30 day shows data:

    Same report ran thru the scheduler:


    When I tried just a 1 day report:
    In PRD:

    Running same report in scheduler I'm missing the entire 2nd data series from 2nd machine:


    I set it up as followed:



    This is running wasp v9.20

    Hi Dan,

    Can you try the same test but instead of "Tabloid" choose "Letter" for the size?   I am curious because I tested this in my 9.2.0 lab just now and it seemed to be working pretty well, but when I changed to "Tabloid" and "Portrait" it dropped 2 of my 3 charts so I am wondering if it's having trouble formatting certain sizes or something.  When I use "Landscape" and "Letter" it looks Ok.

    Hi Jason,
    I initially tried the default and it didnt' work. Switched it to tabloid and didn't work. I just switched it back to Landscape and Letter:

    Just opened a case and support said that this is a reported defect that is being worked on by development. They keep me updated.

    did you get a feedback when this defect should be fixed? I have exactly the same problem with a customer.

    Can this fix be used with version 9.0.2 and with the UMP Hotfix applied  .Currently all the UMP Portlets are 9.0.4. 
    if not is there any fix for version 9.0.2

    Hi Santhosh,

    Not aware of this fix for 9.02 .Would suggest you to open a ticket for this so Dev can create a hotfix for your current running version

    Hello,
    I've received this HF (in attached) for UIM 9.0.2/UMP 9.0.4 and this has resolved the issue.

    Follow these steps to deploy the hotfix:

    1) Deactivate wasp.
    2) Take a backup of the existing ump_reportscheduler package available in the archive.
    3) Delete the contents of the  folder...\Nimsoft\probes\service\wasp\work
    4) Take a backup of the ..\Nimsoft\probes\service\wasp\webapps\dashboard folder.
    5) Delete the dashboard folder from the path ...\Nimsoft\probes\service\wasp\webapps
    6) Import the hotfix package into the archive.
    7) Deploy the package to the UMP server.
    8) Activate wasp.
    9) Clear the browser cache.
