    Hi everyone,
I would like to know if by indicating in the setup tab, nimsoft tab, in the Specified Hub (Domain Name) field the name of the domain, I will have the robot search every time another HUB loses connection with its current HUB throughout the domain.

    Hi Carlos,

The "Specified Hub (domain name) field is used to supply the Domain of the secondary hub that manages the robot if its assigned parent hub is unavailable.

If you use "Specified Hub (IP/name)," the robot attempts to resolve the hub name using the UIM Hub IP. In some scenarios it may not work because the robot is not able to communicate via the UIM Hub IP.

Specify Hub (domain name) - The robot attaches to the hub within the specified CA UIM domain.
If you use "Specified Hub (domain name)" set the robot 'communicatable' IP Address or the robot's resolvable hostname, so that the robot attempts to resolve the hub using the local network.

If the controller probe finds the "Specified Hub (domain name)" setting, it will override the "Specified Hub (IP/Name)" setting.

The configuration key in the robot.cfg is "secondary_hub_dns_name"

As Silvio stated, the "Specified Hub (domain name)" field is used to identify the domain of the secondary hub that manages the robot, if its assigned parent hub becomes unavailable for some reason.

    Stephen,
    Thanks for the reply.
Then you can only indicate a single HUB secondary to a robot, there is no way to automatically make the robot look for a third HUB if the first and secondary do not respond. This is correct?

In your screen shot, last line, you activated already the option to look for another hub if the primary or secondary are not there.
