SSLV3 showing up for UIM 8.3.1

Folks,

We are currently at 8.3.1 (planning a migration to 8.5.1) but security teams are telling us that probes are using SSLV3 which is bad apparently.  Can this be fixed on 8.3.1? What is the cause?

very few probes are for a specific version of uim. 
for those core probes that are specific to 8.31, no.
check your local archive for the latest web versions enabled for all your probes.
