For me, in my UIM v9.20 at least although I had to disable pop-up blocking in Chrome, I generated the dashboard in PDF format out of the box with no changes.

I would suggest apply UIM 8.51 sp1 and ump sp1 and then apply all the 8.51Sp1 hotfixes from the hotfix page.
    https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/product-content//recommended-reading/technical-document-index/ca-unified-infrastructure-management-hotfix-index.html?r=2
If you do not have 8.51sp1 then you will need to open a case to get this as there is no place to download this other than through a case at this time.

or you can plan to update to 9.02

Hi @Gene Howard How are you?.
I opened a case (20129519 and 20137771) for that the Support help me on determinate whats is the problem exactly but they said that if the report it's empty UIM isn't the problem and they close the case. I don't know if I don't understood the workaround because "Generated PDF" is a functionality of CA UIM and the support indicated that I should open a idea for this worked. I don't know if you, can redirect the effor for help me to try resolve this issue.

1- Open the dashboard and click "Generate PDF"--->

    2- The dashboard downloaded

3- When I open the pdf dashboard it's empty.

    Hi,

You can take a look at the portal.log for errors/exceptions/failures, right after generating the PDF. For example: http://<ump_hostname>/jsp/diag.jsp?file=portal.log

HI so is it just this one dashboard?
If you create a new dashboard with only a circle and a square does the export to PDF work?

@Gene Howard Thank you so much for your help.

Support answer for this case ----->

    Dear Miller,

We have consulted with Broadcom Development and this defect is classified as a low priority defect that will not be addressed in the product due to low risk and not impacting critical functionality.

I would also like to add that in January, the UIM product management will be releasing a customer letter about the status of UIM/UMP and its road map concerning the end of life of Flash.

I would encourage you to plan the upgrade to UIM 9.2 at this time. The problem reported in this case can not be reproduced in 9.02 or 9.2

Thank You for contacting Broadcom Customer Support.

We are planning the installation of UIM to 92 at the next year. In this version this isn't a problem.
