The best version for upgrade robot and hub in UIM 902

Hi Dear Community.

Yesterday we upgrade UIM 851 SP1 to 902, now we want upgrade the robots(280), to version more stable between 902 and 201. We have robots have versions like 7.80, 7.93, 7.91, 7.97, 7.97hf9, 7.97hf8. We also want to update the 4 hubs to the most stable version, we have the hubs with 7.97hf3 version.

The intention of all this is to have the environment stable and homologate to perform next weekend UIM update to 201.

Can someone tell me which is the best version for robot and hub, I think it should be 920. What do you think? Additional you can copy me the link to download robot_update and hub_update

Oh ... David, and how can I upgrade UIM 902 to UIM 201 and the robots are not affected? Because my intention was in UIM 902 to upload the robots to version 920 so that when I upload UIM 201 I will not have problems. What do you recommend me?

the upgrade will update primary hub, robot and hub, then manually update robot on the ump & cabi robots. From there run the OC upgrade. Then the other robots and hubs can manually be updated.

OK, if I understood, this should be the procedure to follow:

1) Update UIM to version 201, this will update robot and hub to 920 in primary hub
2) Update the ump and cabi robot to 920 mnaulmente to then run the UMP installer and update CABI probes.
3) Then I can update secondary hubs manually
4) Then I update the robots manually

Is my understanding okay? You mean then, if I have my robots with 7.97_HF11 version, I won't have problems reporting to UIM 201?

correct, except 20.1 uses robot & hub 9.30. 
With 20.3 they go up to 9.31

the CRC check failed it looks like.

It would suggest something tampered with it such as anitvirus

Not sure if my understanding is correct, it seems like when downloaded they are 0 byte. That will be a problem on your side, just confirmed they download to the correct size and import correctly.

Hi @Gene Howard and @David Michel ​​After upgrade the system UIM 9.02 to 20.1 is necessary i make upgrade of 280 robots 7.97_HF11to 9.30, However, we are thinking of doing it to the version 9.30_HF4.
Wich robot do you recommend using, 9.30 or9.30_HF4? My intention is to update the robots only once.
Should I consider upgrading the Primary Hub robot and the UMP Server?

Hi @Gene Howard and @David Michel After upgrading to UIM 902 my main hub has had issues that I have been solving with some KB while we upgrade to 20.1 next Sunday, but today I had an issue where I couldn't detect what was, I solved it by restarting the primary hub. I am thinking as part of the solution to upgrade the Robot and Hub of the primary hub from 7.96 to 7.97HF11. Can a problem occur if I do this update? what do you recommend?

I would definitely recommend update the robot and the hub to 7.97HF11.

There were some known issues with 7.96 and so it very well could be a root cause.
