2.some traffic is found in websense proxy from HUB which means theHUB servers might have proxy configured somewhere. We need  to get to bottom of this. How to find the proxy setting

3.will it have any impact if we remove proxy

Internet communication is used to download probes from the online archive.
No problem blocking it other than having to download updates and import them into the local archive.

    Hello David,

Will it require the internet to use any rest API in CAUIM
Also does the internet is required for URL response probe

In normal operation the UIM components do not need Internet access.

However some activities optionally can provide more functionality if you do have direct access from the servers such as
    • probe down load
    • new MIB registration

But both of these activities can be done in offline modes.

For the web intefaces AC has no internet dependancies
OC interface appears to no longer have internet dependencies BUT still makes internet calls for some js files and depending on how the browser handles these failed downloads will determine the experience (ie some versions of Chrome are picky and fail because not all the .js files were available, even when they are not strictly required for the correct functioning of the interface, once the more important issues with OC have been resolved I will re-raise this issue with Broadcom).

Oh so since you know that someone configured a hub probe to make calls to the proxy server then just check the hub.cfg.
