  • 1.  Cabi probe doesn't get installed

    Hello folks,

    We are deploying a fresh bundled CABI robot, UIM 20.1, cabi probe v4.20 but, the process of installation has taken more time than the indicate in the documention. It's been more than 2 hours, and the two tasks have been repeated. The probe does not appear in the robot, so there is no log to consult nor is there a cabi_install_archive.log.

    The robot meets the hardware and software requirements, it has the certificate.pem.

    Some idea about what is due to this that happens

    Has the virus scanner been disabled?

    ok then something else is preventing the distribution of the package. 
    The log level can be increased but not sure it will have anything helpful.
    You can manually copy it or some other 550mb file over to see how fast it goes.

    I had a similar experience in the past, and changing a distsrv parameter did help:
    /distsrv/setup/block_size set to: 512000

    Thank you for that information @Luc Christiaens​ 

    We did achieved the installation of a fresh bundled CABI robot (cabi probe v4.20).

    We increased the block size by editing the distsrv.cfg because, from the AC is not possible to increase to 512000.

    Also, we used these two knowledge items because, we came across the incident in the first item.

    For the re-deploy, on this occasion, the deployment of the cabi probe and packages to the CABI robot was done from the Admin Console (previously it had been done from the IM).

    The installation was successful
