    Hi

Sorry you are having an issue.
First it is not tested  and so not supported doing an in place upgrade from community to enterprise addition.

It looks like your database  became corrupt.
The data_engine  could not find the following table: tbnVersion.
Then when it went to create it, the process failed.

You should have your dba look into this  and see what happened.

I would suggest starting over with a clean database.

There are kb articles out there about doing that.

    Sincerely,

Actually gene this is just a copy of prod we used for testing so we still can test but i want to know  if after enterprise upgrade is there any special steps we need to take from UIM before trying to connect to db .
do we need to stop UIM services while this upgrade is being done or can we just let db team do the upgrade on the live environment?

    regards

uim has to be shut down, there can't be anything trying to communicate to the database while the upgrade is going on at the database server.

I would not suggest that you have anything connecting to your database while doing any type of upgrade.
I would suggest you disable the primary hub and ump robots while the upgrade is being done and start them afterwards.

    Hi All

I was able to upgrade MySQL community to enterprise edition with help of MySQL team

We had two approach either migrated to oracle(because we already had the licenses for oracle ) or to MySQL enterprise edition (since we were currently running MySQL version)

We successfully tested both just that oracle migration needed reinstallation so we chose MySQL upgrade.

it has been three weeks and no issue has occurred so we are moving towards upgrade of UIM to 9.02 then to 20.1

    thanks for the support

    regards
