Max.restarts reached for probe 'db2'

Hi all.
I am trying deploy db2 probe in a server AIX with DB db2 but the probe not start, it state is red. The error log indicate:

Controller: Max. restarts reached for probe 'db2' (command = /bin/sh)

Any idea?

Hi @Gene Howard thanks for the information.

I see on this article (https://ca-broadcom.wolkenservicedesk.com/external/article?articleId=137094) that the version support it of AIX is ​(- 6.1, - 6.2, - 7.0, - 7.1, - 7.2) But if I review the documentation (https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/dam/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/assets/docops/uim902/Platform_Support_Availability_current.pdf) only is support it ​(- 6.1, - 6.2, - 7.0, - 7.1) not 7.2. So I am a little confused because my AIX is 7.2 and I need to know if I put effort for monitoring my db2 with UIM

What version of DB2 are you trying to monitor?
I would install the DB2 on a remote machine and set it up to monitor the DB2 instance on the 7.2 platform.
Make sure the target DB2 version is supported as well.

the version is db2 9.7.11 and 10.5.10....... Are supported this version?

We assume that 9.7.x and 10.5.x are supported!

So please be sure to do all the Prereqs, Environment Variable Requirements, Installation Considerations, etc.
