9.20 upgrade issue: UMP lost logo

So after upgrading to 9.x I noticed that our UMP lost the custom logo that we displayed when folks hit the UMP. 
It now just says:  LIFERAY

After i log in I am getting:

And even following the steps that normally fixes this, the SAVE button on the change logo page fails. Its broken.

 but following this steps I'm getting the same error when I hit SAVE.

Anyone else see this?

Hi ,

You should raise a ticket for this as looks like a defect

For workaround can replace the default logo with same name and restart wasp

The logo file is located on UMP robot in following location:
$NIMROOT/probes/service/wasp/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/images/company_logo.png

Where $NIMROOT is Nimsoft install location

Hello,

i am currently experiencing same issue on a recent upgrade to 9.20 for one of our customer.
ticket raised with relevant error in wasp.log... waiting for feedback from support...

liferay communities mention the same kind of issue: https://liferay.dev/forums/-/message_boards/message/6804058 .... maybe new openjdk used in Nimsoft environment are causing the issue !!

So in the end what my issue was is that the new liferay only supports PNG format and not jpg. I had to re-save all my logo's as PNG and then respecify them in the update logo process.

I will give a try with PNG but assume this is a new defect... let see how support will answer the case i raised.
