  • 1.  Where mibs imported by the snmptd probe are archived?

    Posted Mar 12, 2019 02:41 PM

    Hello,

I checked the snmptd probe directory and did not find the MIB files that were imported.

We are going to install a new UIM environment, and we need to create a new robot to receive the traps and generate alarms, so we need to replicate the settings from our current snmptd to the new one, I know I can copy the current cfg to the new one robot, but I need the MIBs.

Does anyone know where to find the MIBs that are imported into the snmptd probe? and How would it be possible to replicate your configuration to another robot without manually creating the profiles?

    Thank you.

There's a MIBS directory at the same directory level as hub/robot/probes.

My recollection is that is the location.

    Thank you Garin,

    I found the directory MIBS.

To replicate the configuration to another robot with probe snmptd would it be enough to copy the CFG and the MIBs directory to the new robot? will it work?

    Tks
