UIM Moogsoft issues

    Hi Team,


    Am asking this on behalf of my client, UIM / Moogsoft has been integrated via Moogsoft LAM.


    For this purpose client has created an attached queue named Moogsoft in UIM primary hub with subject alarm2 and it is being subscribed by the Moogsoft LAM.


    Issue 1) When an alarm is generated in UIM the same alarm with same nimid is sent to Moogsoft console. During the subsequent polls the nimid of the alarm gets changed, however, the count is increased but when this happens the nimid of the unprocessed alarm is sent to the Moogsoft console. Is there a way to stop the nimid of the unprocessed alarm sent to Moogsoft?


    Issue 2) The client has created pre-processing NAS rule to exclude alarms from a specific probe. The alarms are suppressed don't show up in the UIM alarm console. But they are being picked up by the Moog LAM connecter and hence showing up on the Moogsoft console. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

    I think you will need to use a NAS profile(s) to repost the specific alarms you want to be sent to Moogsoft.

    These should have a different subject and the moogsoft queue should subscribe to this subject and not alarm2

    Give that a try
