  • 1.  Not able to open CABI

    Hi,

     

    We are using UIM version 8.5.1

     

    We are not able to open CABI from Internet explorer 11 version 11.162.10568.0, even from Google chrome version 5.2.0 getting below attached screen when we click on CABI portlet.

     

    Kindly suggest why this is happening and how it get resolved.

    Hi ,

     

    Is https enabled on the cabi server / ump server ?


    Open cabi stand-alone in a web browser like mozilla

    https://<cabi-ip>:<port>/cabijs

    You will see the some security message related to certificate , but are able to accept the certificate.

    Add exception and save the certificate


    after this try logging to ump and check if can open the summary dashboard page

    Is your cabi and UMP Server using HTTP or HTTPS?

    Both need to use the same.

    Hi MCX.1, good to know that now is working after set both to HTTP or HTTPS.

    Can you posted what changes were made?

    I have the same problem on mine except I'm running UIM 9.1. Both UMP and CABI are configured to run via HTTPS. I can open CABI web interface as well as UMP via HTTPS fine, however when I try to open the CABI portlet on my UMP it does not work (same as your screenshot).

    Any help is appreciated.

    @Rodrigo Braga , I had similar problem using portlet , what i have managed to do  was adding it as a webpage , while creating a CABI non Org user with restricted ACL to only that Dashboard .

    Ex: http://xxx.xx.x.xxx.x/cabijs/dashboard/viewer.html?j_username=user1234r&j_password=test1234&decorate=no#%2Fpublic%2FTests%2FDashboards%2FDashboard_Test_v0.2

    I am facing same issue.
    Both URLs are accessible separately but not able to open dashboards. It is not calling CABI server, instead it is pointing to same url

    https://umpserver/cabi/api/server_info?sid=4b6f377241303937a5745696c4a68593d&locale=en_US 503 (Service Unavailable)

    Can anyone have idea, what I am missing.

    This was working before applying CA Signed certificates on both.

    make sure your UMP wasp.cfg has a CABI = key in the setup section pointing to the Cabi or cabi_external probe on the robot.
    example:
    cabi = /<domain_name>/<hub_name>/<robot_name>/cabi

    in the CABI.cfg make sure you have the cabi_url key in the setup section:
    example:
    cabi_url = https://<cabi-ip>:<port>/cabijs
