logmon clear alarm

Hi,

 

Have anyone worked on clearing an alert using a logmon. I am looking to send an alert when a string matches say "FAILED" and trigger an alert. And when the log file captures a message say "RUNNING" the alert should get cleared. How can this be achieved using logmon to clear the alarm rather not through the NAS.

You need to create two watchers, one for "FAILED" and one for "RUNNING". then in the "alarm" tab you need to set them to have the same suppression key. Set the watcher with "RUNNING" to have "clear" severity.
