  • 1.  lync_monitor QOS entries

    Dear Team

     

    We are using lync_monitor 2.10. When there is any alarms from this probe we see entry in alarm console with "IP address in host-name column" and "host-name in Source column".

     

    However on same lync server if any alerts related to cdm or any other probe its entries are "hostname in hostname column" and "IP in source column" (which is the correct way to seeing alert)

     

    We have checked nslookup which is working as expected, also checked the entries in DNS that is also proper.

     

    This behavior we are only seeing with lync probe. Any idea why its so? or any help to get desire result.

    FYI

    Guys this is lync_monitor probe design issue as per CA engineering team investigation. They have raised defect for the same.
