I run a hosting company and we use nimsoft for all monitoring. I would like to know if anyone has tried or if there is a way to create a UMP Dashboard with a map containing my datacenters and overlay current weather?
Do you have a source of the weather data already lined up? It would be faily easy to put a small box by each data center with some details like temp, precipitaion, overcast/sunny etc. If you are looking for integrating a rain radar type view or similar it may be a little harder. How many data centres do you have and what sort of geographic area? Are we talking Global, as big as China or as big as Singapore?
I was hoping to be able to overlay a radar type view over each datacenter that we have.
They are global in nature we have 5 in US, 2 in Europe, 1 in Asia, and 1 in Australia currently
