Hi Sridhar,
that's good news.
Yes, I'm interested in taking part on Beta-Test but I do not know whether I'll find the time for it.
I'll provide this information also to my colleagues.
Questions:
-
When the Beta-Test will start?- Do you know whether 4.3.5 will be supported by Clarity SM (CA Service Management) 17.2/17.3 components?
- Is there any certification-matrix already prepared?
Regards,
Peter

Subject: 17.2.03 openJDK for PAM ?
Hi Peter,
Hope you are doing good. Thanks for the inquiry. Here is the good news!! We are coming up with 4.3.5 slated early 2020 and this release will support AdoptOpenJDK 8. Customers can use Oracle JDK 8 or the AdoptOpenJDK 8 (both OpenJ9 and HotSPot JVMs are supported). This release also has other features like Multi-Select export of Automation Objects, Nodename display at process level, Enhanced REST API - pagination and filter capabilities for list process instances, MSSQL 2019 and Oracle 19c certifications etc.
We will be coming up with an announcement shortly inviting Beta customers to test the beta build and provide us feedback. Fujitsu is our core important customer and we would be excited if Fujitsu can participate in the Beta validation program and share feedback.
Would you be interested in the Beta validation program and provide us early feedback? Please let me know and I will share all the details.
Thanks
Sridhar

We are planning support for OpenJDK, but it is not yet supported for 4.3 sp3 or sp4. We will support OpenJDK in a future release.

Hi all,
installation prerequisites for CA Process Automation document that
CA Process Automation supports Oracle Java Development Kit (JDK) 1.8.162 and above.
Using Oracle JDK is a must?
See JDK Prerequisites (4.3.03 and 4.3.04 - the same)
Could openJDK also be used?

Peter
