Dear Automic Connoisseurs,
For the first time since the Big Bang, we want to use the Automic RA FTP Agent in our company. The following agent and solution are installed:
In the agent object, you can configure the proxy:
And finally, in the connection object, the remote SFTP server is defined:
As can be seen in the last screenshot above, if you use SFT, you can only use the SOCKS-proxy. At least, that's how I interpret this. And the documentation is here also not very helpful. My problem now is, we can only use HTTP, HTTPS or CONNECT as proxy, not SOCKS.
We made some tests. We can reach the remote SFTP server using command line SFTP from the linux host on which the agent is installed using this command:
On the other hand, executing a RA FTP job 'List directory' with SOCKS proxy fails:
Therefore my question: Can I somehow use HTTP, HTTPS or CONNECT as proxy with SFTP and if yes, how?
