API Portal CentOS Hardened image usage

Hi,

 

Please confirm if the CentOS hardened image can be used as the base for setting up both the API Portal as well as the Jarvis nodes ? We are planning to utilize a separate node for Portal/Jarvis as per the recommendation, however wanted to confirm if the OVA can be utilized for each of these components.

Hi:

Sorry for the slow response on this and I have used this before for customers but will double-check with Product team because not documented so understand why you are questioning this.  It has been awhile since the release you were looking at and I strongly recommend going to the newest version Portal 4.4 that does not require a separate Jarvis server and uses Druid which has better performance and operational control of data management.
