Kubernetes best practices

Hi all,

I'm in the process of building a large scale high performance Gateway solution in AWS EKS.

I'm looking for some best practice advice on the following points:

1. Affinity rules – policy for pod placement across the EKS workers.
2. EKS and API GW pods resource sizing.
3. TLS termination policy.
4. Recommended java version, with cgroups (resource capping) handling capabilities.
5. Recommended ingress controller for EKS to handle and load balance API GW traffic.
