    Hi,

     

    I am relatively new to SNMP monitoring in general and I am having a hard time understanding how it is currently design in CA API Gateway and how everything works together.

     

    The current question I have right now is to figure out the interaction between SNMPD.CONF, the MIBs files and what is is displayed when I run commands like "snmpwalk -v 2c -Ou localhost -c l7 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021" and "snmpwalk -v 2c -Ou localhost".

     

    I cannot understant how the snmp agent currently running on my API Gateway server make use of all thoses SNMP configuration and how it knows which one to load or not. Does it load some of them by default or it load all MIBs configuration present in the MIB directory ?

     

    Is it possible to simplify all this ? How the snmp agent load theses configurations and make use of them ?
