  • 1.  Upgrade - free space on /opt

    Posted Dec 04, 2017 01:21 PM

    Hello

I'm on the process of upgrading from 8.4 to 9.0.

But, when I try to upload the Layer7_v9.0.00.L7P, it complains that there is not enough space left.

And in fact, /opt have 96% space used.

Is there a way to free space like removing the old patch files?

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards

    Hi

Yes, you can do one of two thing, you can increase the disk space by adding addition space to the particual partition, here is the document on how to do so

Or you can delete the old patches you have on the system except for the one you are currently on.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks

You can delete the following files of /opt/SecureSpan/Controller/var/patches/ directory.
    *.L7P
    *.LCK

Please let me know if you were able to get the space issue resolved? If so please make this questions as answered.
