Healthcheck - Developer Portal 4.2.x

There currently is no native healthcheck option in the CA Developer Portal when bringing in an Load Balancer.

 

I am looking for what solutions have been utilized, or recommend from those who have gone through the same steps.

 

Current solution is to utilize Nginx Healthcheck components for the AWS ELB to ping. It would be preferable to not install any additional components, but find a native CA or Docker solution without security risks.

 

- Researched dockerd as well, but it seems to allow root level access if opening that socket for Docker API.

We also have this question. Would be really helpful to have a best practice for configuring health check on the load balancer and integrate health checks in our monitoring for all portal compononents.
