Oracle 19c & RA Banner Agent

Good afternoon!

A recent community post stated that while Applications Manager 9.3.2 could run against a 19c database, the RA Banner agent could not run against a Banner 19c database. Instead, it must run against an 18c database. Did anyone else see that? Are there any institutions running the RA Banner agent against a Banner database at 19c?

We are in the same boat as you on this...wondering if there is anyone else is running the most recent RA Banner Agent against a 19C Banner Database.  We might try to do it this weekend.

We have also been asking around and discussing among ourselves. One thing I heard (not from broadcom support) was that, as long as  the JDBC driver is 19c compatible for the connection to Banner Agent, it should be fine. We might go for testing next month.

Just FYI - the Ellucian ActionLine is using Applications Manager 9.3.2 and the Banner Agent 4.0 connecting to both Banner and App Mgr 19c databases.  We are using the ojdbc8.jar file from the 19c oracle home.   No new issues have surfaced.
