If a Uproc script contains sqlplus and sqldr commands you need to have the Oracle client installed in the server

The .profile o .login file for the Linux user used with the submission account needs to have all the required paths for the Oracle in order to be able to execute the sqlplus/sqldr commands from the script.

Script can be named  anyway, no particular format is required as long as it has execution permissions. It doesn’t matter the extension other to identify if it’s a cshell, bashell, kshell, etc.

Check Oracle documentation or visit Oracle website to get more information about how to install Oracle Client for LInux#.
