Some customers would like to have Dollar Universe setu up in high availability by using one NFS shared over two servers and experience that offline reorganisation taking too long to complete which reflects on long time outages breaking the purpose of high availability configuration.
Dollar Universe uses a lot of IO threads with .dta files while the offline reorganisation is running so the performance gets affected when it is installed in a NFS as DUAS is not intended to be used in that configuration.
The best option to have high availability is using a failover software to handle it.
If NFS use is the only option, then trying a NFS tune-up might help but the performance will never be as good as a regular Dollar Universe installation with failover or cluster configuration.
